Take A Stand!
THURSDAY • OCTOBER 15, 2009 •12:00 pm, San Francisco City Hall :: Students, faculty and staff demand that state and federal office holders keep California’s promise of public education, including higher education, for all. Education adds wealth to California, but corporations get bailouts and tax breaks while schools, colleges and universities are cut to the bone. We demand that our elected officials take a stand for public education. We also demand that all declared candidates for Governor take a stand regarding their plans to support public education.
